At Yaldeinu, we take proper nutrition seriously; we understand how heavily it affects the health and wellness of our children. We implement a safe diet that focuses on hypoallergenic, nutritionally complete foods full of vitamins and minerals but free of gluten (found in wheat and other grains) and casein (found in milk).

Gluten-Free, Casein-Free Diet (GFCF)

The Autism Research Institute and other advocacy groups recommend the Gluten-Free, Casein-Free Diet (GFCF) as a treatment for autism and related disorders. The GFCF Diet is the most commonly used special diet for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Children following this diet are often placed on amino-acid-based formulas. These formulas are beneficial because they provide an easily absorbable, non-inflammatory protein to children with problematic reactions to most whole food proteins, such as gluten, casein or soy.

Healthy, delicious and fresh gluten and casein-free meals are provided daily, along with nutritious snacks throughout the course of the school day. Parents are educated and encouraged to transition children to a gluten and casein free diet at home in order to fully benefit from the effects of a proper diet.

We have our finger on the pulse of emerging trends in dietary research for children on the autism spectrum. We collaborate with world-renowned nutrition specialists and constantly integrate the latest advancement in research into our daily food choices. At present, we’re very excited by the promise of the GFCF free diet in supporting and strengthening the immune system.
